Jesus Christ is the one and only, true, higher power at Celebrate Recovery, and the author of Hebrews fortifies his status as God with the power to help us recover

A willingness to make change is the seed to new growth and a new way of life. Action reflects the willingness of the heart; action displays trust in the words of truth.

Long ago God spoke to our ancestors by the prophets at different times and in different ways. In these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son. God has appointed him heir of all things and made the universe through him.  

Matthew 5:3

The Hebrews message offers hope to those willing to persevere in times of struggle by understanding the suffering Christ experienced to purchase salvation and freedom from hurts, hang-ups, and habits.
